V-Type Format

     The first type of format for the four stroke engine is the v-type format. The v-type is called that because the cylinders are all aligned in the shape of a V. These engines are used in most cars today. They are efficient because you can fit more pistons in a smaller space within the engine compartment and still provide enough power to tow and pull cargo.
